tools for transitioning organic dairy farmers! Thursday, April 10, 2008 –10:00am to

Thinking about transitioning
to organic dairy management or considering organic certification? Don’t miss this opportunity
to learn about organic dairy farm management! NOFA-NY is hosting a dairy
transition workshop starting with a presentation by the NOFA-NY Certified
Organic, LLC Dairy staff, who will provide an overview of the transition and
certification process, including applications, certification fees,
recordkeeping requirements, and organic regulations for dairy farms. Next the NOFA-NY Organic Dairy
Transition staff will present the Self Assessment Workbook that will
help evaluate your readiness to transition. The Workshop is free of
charge and refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is preferred.
