We believe that how we spend our time and resources matter. An organized effort that began in 1971 and formally came to New York in 1983, NOFA has been leading the charge for organic in the Northeast for over 50 years.

Solutions to the biggest challenges of our time are inherent to the organic food and farming systems that we’re co-creating in our state — from building healthy, thriving communities to mitigating the effects of climate change. Our initiatives move in alignment with the IFOAM principles of organic: Health, Ecology, Fairness, and Care.

The Northeast Organic Farming of Association of New York is a member-based, non-profit educational organization supported in part by membership donations and individual contributions. NOFA-NY is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations may be tax-deductible, consult your tax adviser for guidance.
