Help expand the possibilities of our food system! Join us for an invitation-only evening of local food, conversation, and ideas about agriculture, climate resilience, and the future of our food system.
Agricultural practices have deep impacts on our climate. Farmers, with their place on the frontline of the climate crisis, are uniquely positioned to shape a more resilient livable future.
Farmers building healthy soils, protecting biodiversity, and developing resilient farming systems are key to finding solutions. Farms are experiencing first hand the challenges of extreme weather and an economic system warped towards corporate control of our food and fiber.
Adapting to these challenges takes more than good farming practices. Farmers need to partner with funders, environmental groups, food pantries, policy makers, community groups, scientists and other changemakers to craft the policies and systems for our agricultural future. This needs to simultaneously happen on local, statewide, and national levels in order to affect the future of our planet.
This event is not just a fundraiser, it is a briefing on our work and an opportunity to learn, brainstorm and create our collective path forward. This work requires all our collaboration, and this event will offer opportunities for creating the resources for a vibrant agricultural future we can be proud of.
Join us to collaborate, learn, brainstorm and create our collective path forward.
We’ll gather at Seminary Hill Catskills for an evening centered on reciprocal relationships with the land, climate resilience, and the role of policy in supporting farmers.
Guests will also have the opportunity to experience Seminary Hill’s NOFA-NY organic cidery and enjoy a dinner featuring local organic food and drinks.
