Farm Share Program

Building nutrition security and improving access.

Our Farm Share Program provides New Yorkers access to fresh, local food via discounted Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares. CSA is a system where community members pay in advance for a portion of the farm’s upcoming harvest and receive a weekly box of farm-fresh food all season long. This sales model provides members with consistent access to local, in-season food and provides predictable income for farmers.

Partner Farms

This year, we have partnered with the farms below who offer these shares to members of their community. If you are interested in joining their program, please contact them using the email addresses below and mention NOFA-NY’s Farm Share Program.

No-cost CSA shares are available in Central New York!

Our partnership with Seven Valleys Health Coalition (SVHC) in Cortland, NY helps bring additional food security to the region. SVHC’s Produce Prescription (PRx) program uses food as medicine to increase positive health outcomes by improving food security and preventing and/or treating diet-related chronic diseases. The no-cost CSA shares are delivered directly to participants’ homes throughout the 22-week season, increasing access to and consumption of fresh produce. In addition to produce, participants are provided with support and education on food preparation through cooking classes and cookbooks, as well as chronic disease prevention and self-management classes to empower lifestyle change.

Contact Seven Valleys Health Coalition directly to sign up for a CSA share through this program.
