Social Media Basics & Tomato Tasting

September 7 @ 4:30 pm

@ Schul Farmstead
5340 Cambria Road, Sanborn, New York 14132

The Good Farmers Guild of Western New York invites you to a two-part event! At 4:30 pm, Aurora Schul Schunk will teach farmers how to identify social media content “pillars,” aka: a list of what to post when you don’t know what to post but you know you should be “showing up” on social media, using scheduling tools, tips for creating reels, ways to use Instagram/Facebook stories to engage, hashtags, directing followers to become email subscribers, etc.

Then, at 5:30 pm, we’ll taste dozens of varieties of tomatoes, plus some salsas! Participants are encouraged to bring tomatoes from their farms and gardens and/or homemade salsa (made with tomatoes or some other fruit!) for the group to try.

This event is free and open to farmers, people who work on farms, and ag service providers. Participants are welcome to attend the entire event or just the Social Media Basics presentation or just the Tomato Tasting. You’re also invited to bring tomatoes from your farm or garden and/or homemade salsa (tomato and non-tomato salsa welcome)!
