2020 Field Days

As the only statewide organization dedicated to organic food and farming, NOFA-NY has been working with organic growers for over 35 years. Now, to keep our community safe, we’ve transitioned to hosting our annual field day series via webinar rather than in-person.

Upcoming Webinars

Adapting and Collaborating to Grow the Farm
Main Street Farms, Cortland NY

The Main Street Farms team runs a diversified vegetable and hemp operation with CSA, wholesale, and farmers market customers. Since 2011, owners Bob Cat Bonagura and Allan Gandelman have grown the business each year with the help of family, friends, and a knowledgeable farm crew. They collaborate with other local farms and food businesses to support a vibrant local food community in Central New York. This field day will cover a range of topics, including high tunnel summer crop production, harvesting and post harvest handling, and soil health.
